Stroke for Egypt Academy has successfully organized a multi-discipline water sport competition during April 2014,
where International swimmers enjoyed our sun, sea and safe Hurghada - EGYPT.
The event included Open Water for 2,5 & 10 Km for both fit and special needs swimmers...

...Water polo mini tournament between Gezira Club team and Jadran- Montenegro team and the main action was the magnificent idea
of Khaled's dream to stretch a 2.5Km EGYPTian flag over the Red Sea to tell the whole world that EGYPT is safe, sunny and perfect place
for a secure & profitable investment. Such extra ordinary event was filmed via a military helicopter, attended by Channel Swimming Association God father - Mr. Michael Read, BBC crew significant open water swimmers such as Lexie Kelly from USA Ambassador and Social Marketing Manager with Open Water Swimming, a member of the Open Water Swim Club, a reporter with Daily News of Open Water Swimming who covered the 2011 FINA Swimming Championship in Shanghai, the Olympic Marathon Swim at the 2012 London Olympic Games, the FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix circuit. Also Valerio Cleri from Italy is a 2-time Olympic and World-class distance freestyle swimmer, finished 4th at the Olympic 10K Marathon Swim in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He also finished 17th at the Olympic 10K Marathon Swim at the 2012 London Olympics. He competed in the 10K Marathon Swim placing 11th at the 2011 FINA World Championship in Shanghai, China.
All were fascinated by the natural scenes, beautiful sunshine, lovely blue red sea waters, event organization,
swims administration, accommodation, flight arrangements and expressed their desire to come again to HURGHADA - Egypt.
